John is "the man with his name above the door" and quite rightly so with his many years in the estate agency world which started in Ealing Broadway in 1985, working with two independent estate agencies. By 1995, however, he was ready to do it all on his own and John has put his own stamp on the running of the business and his personality shines through. John still enjoys the cut and thrust of "doing the deal" but his priority is doing the best job for his client and making sure all parties are given the maximum amount of help available in whatever type of property transaction they may be involved in. He is also Chairman of Pitshanger Village Traders' Association, a GBHighSt competition judge, one of the original founders of "Friends of Pitshanger Library" and now a trustee of the charitable organisation of the same name and Chair of the new Ealing High Streets Taskforce, including business stakeholders and council officers, formed to help high streets across the borough recover from the impact of the pandemic and its three national lockdowns.

Rhian and John met in 1995 and in that same year, whilst organising their wedding, also established John Martin Estates. Rhian is a qualified solicitor, although currently non-practising, and has been an integral part of the business from the outset, especially in light of her years of dealing with all aspects of the law relating to landlord and tenant as well as the litigation process. Now involved on a day-to-day basis, Rhian continues to deal with all legal, compliance and financial matters for the business and in the sales and lettings process for our clients. She is one of the original founders of "Friends of Pitshanger Library" and now a trustee of the charitable organisation of the same name and a co-host of the popular Twitter forum "EalingHour" on the first Tuesday of each month from 8pm-9pm.
